She has vast experience across different sectors and is dedicated tohelping people take a wholistic approach to dealing with their life’s challenges.

 

 She served as a Nurse Tutor at the Kenya Medical Training College and Nairobi Hospital. She served as a lecturerand Senior Lecturer in Psychology at Daystar University She has also served as a Counselling Psychologist at Lifespring Training and CounselingCenter  as well Oasis Counselling Centre.

 

While at Lifespring she worked on counselling/mental health outreaches with the August 7th Bomb blast and with UN teams in Lokichogio and the UN headquaters. She is the National Coordinator of The Godly Woman Africa and an Associate Minister with Life Changers Ministries based in Nakuru.

 

Finally Dr. Mutheu is also a publisher and an ordained minister.

 

Dr. Mutheu is an author of 3 titles namely When Death Strikes What next?; Counselling in Conflict and Burnout. She is the co-editor of A Handbook for Mentoring the African Christian Woman and is currently working on her next book.

She is married to Stephen Talitwala and together they have 3 adult children and 3 grandchildren.
