Gilead Mental Health Consultants invites applications from interested and suitably qualified candidates, to fill the following position in our Clinic.

Nursing Officer, Gilead Mental Health consultants

 One Position

 Job Responsibilities

• Render assistance to the consultants in way of taking and documenting vital signs and assisting in relevant procedures

• Accompany all critical &needy patients for investigation procedures.

• Perform nursing procedures as per set protocols in the Clinic. e.g. give prescribed injections

• Co-ordinate and assist with processing of admissions.

• Cleaning, disinfecting and complete arrangement of the nursing rooms.

• Educating the patient about nutrition andPhysical health and the importance of follow up care and document the same.

• Attend all in-service education programs and take required certification programs.

• Takes responsibility and accountability in professional advancement.

• Updates himself in special skills required in the clinic.

• Educates himself on any new procedure and equipment installed in the clinic.

Minimum Qualifications

 

• Committed Christian man

• Diploma in Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing

• Registered by Nursing Council of Kenya

• All original certificates

Relevant Experience

• 3 years working experience in a busy facility
